About Joe Nervis Jr

Residing in Houston, Texas, I am a Master’s student in Information Systems with a specialization in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at the University of Colorado Denver. My background includes IT support and administration, with experience supporting enterprise systems, managing security controls, and building resilient cloud solutions.

I have worked with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Intune, and Active Directory, alongside cybersecurity tools like CrowdStrike and Splunk. My technical skill set also includes Python, SQL, PowerShell, and database management.

Through roles in system administration, applications analysis, and IT support, I have developed strengths in problem-solving, risk management, and cross-team collaboration. I specialize in designing secure, scalable solutions and applying technology to enhance organizational performance and advance business objectives.

My career goal is to advance into cloud security and engineering roles with AWS and Azure, contributing to secure digital transformation and building toward executive IT leadership.
